This 35-hour course prepares licensed estheticians to do "Pure Oxygen Treatments." Learn why pure oxygen treatment is considered the deepest nourishment you can give the skin -- and how the newest treatments combine skin smoothing with skin renewal. Our instructors will explain how true "Pure Oxygen" uses the same life-giving oxygen tanks used in hospital settings, and does much more for the skin than a straightforward oxygen mask can do.

Over the course of the class, students will be instructed in the special two-part oxygen treatment that combines 1) deep exfoliation with 2) pure oxygen delivery to restore the skin's natural balance, tone and coloration and help lessen the damage caused by the sun and aging. Students will have the opportunity for "hands-on" practice of the techniques in the final segment of the course.

This 60-hour course will prepare already-licensed estheticians to perform salon microdermabrasion -- specifically, the crystal peel treatment that Lia Schorr has found to be the safest, most effective microdermabrasion treatment choice for use in skincare salons.

The class will begin with an overview of microdermabrasion: how it is used to resurface the skin, creating a new outermost layer; how it can help lessen hyperpigmentation, acne scarring, aging lines and other surface imperfections. Estheticians will learn the proper way to evaluate clients' skin and see what type of microdermabrasion treatment treatment will work best and how to adjust the degree of treatment to both the client's specific skin problems and the type of skin she/he has. Finally, hands-on practice with the highly sophisticated machines used at the Lia Schorr Day Spa will be included in the class. The goal of microdermabrasion treatment is to provide the best possible results with the least possible damage or risk to the skin.

Microblading, also known as eyebrow embroidery, is a comprehensive course on the use of blades and needles to create semi-permanent hair strokes on clients by the application of pigment under the skin. Students will learn the safety procedures and techniques in Microblading. Students will receive the opportunity to practice microblading on a mannequin head, and on a live model (provided by the student) under the supervision of a Master Level Trainer.

Learn the art of threading, which is also known as banding a method of hair removal using a looped and twisted cotton thread that is maneuvered by the technician’s fingers. The student will be taught the benefits of providing threading as a service and learn about the most common area for threading - the Eyebrow.
