Lia Schorr, a pioneer in the skincare industry, shares her 35 years of experience with each of her students. Ms. Schorr is the author of three acclaimed skincare books: Seasonal Skin Care (Simon & Schuster); Skincare Guide for Men (Prentice Hall); and Salon Ovations Advanced Skin Care Handbook. Along with working her way up within the skincare field from a salon employee to a long-time salon/ day spa owner, Ms. Schorr has been featured in magazines, newspapers, and websites across the country.

As owner of the Lia Schorr Day Spa (which just celebrated its 25th anniversary!)and the Lia Schorr Institute of Cosmetic Skin Care Training, Inc., Lia takes pride in every client and student that walks through the door. Our beauty school employs instructors that are licensed by the New York State Department of Education and are experts in the industry. As a result of our small, personalized classes and combination of lectures, written assignments and hands-on clinical experience, our students are in high demand within the beauty industry.

This core curriculum - the 600-hour course - will prepare you to take the New York State written and practical exams for a license in esthetics. This class begins the first Monday of every month. Our beauty school offers financial aid for those who qualify, as well as Easy Payment Plans and Student Loans.
